Like so many, I seem to have been born to create – having sewn, knitted, granny squared and photographed my way through most of my early years. Digital scrapbooking caught my attention for quite a while, I was privileged to have multiple layouts published in Scrapbooking Memories and Scrapbook Creations magazines, as well as projects that were commissioned by the editor, culminating in 6 columns of digital how-to’s.
After a foray into landscape photography and competing in National and International competitions, my life took a sideways turn and I found myself back at my sewing machine again. Taking up patchwork and quilting, I dipped one toe, then ten in before becoming completely immersed in the world of fabrics, blogs, Instagram and making so many friends along the way. You will find lots of patchwork and quilting links, hints and tutorials here, and I will always try to answer any specific questions you have.
When I’m not squirreled away in my sewing studio, I am a wife and mother of 2 teenage boys, 2 fur-babies and 3 backyard chickens.
